KATE + NICK | FALL WEDDING AT HOTEL DU VILLAGE IN NEW HOPE

i’ve said over and over (and i hope i will for years to come) that the best part of being a photographer is the ability to tell stories. it’s important that i try and enter each and every wedding or portrait session as an opportunity to tell the story of what happened that day. that means every laugh, every tear, every wink… all those little moments in a day that all converge into one incredible story. i had been looking forward to Kate and Nick’s wedding since we shot their engagement photos in Lambertville together last year. this couple is sincere, thoughtful, and so caring of others that it seeps through in everything they do. their fall wedding at Hotel du Village in New Hope was punctuated by moments of emotion as tears welled up in Kate’s and others’ eyes throughout the day (tissues abounded!), a beautiful church service at St. Martin of Tours, all along with more celebratory moments as the couple and their guests danced to live band, The Savoy Stompers, who seriously got us rocking all night long. Kate and Nick are honestly some of the sweetest people i have worked with as a photographer, and i am so so so incredibly grateful to not only have been a part of their day, but for the opportunity as well to tell a piece of their story. congratulations, Nick and Kate!

note: some photos from this wedding were also shot by my amazing second photographer Melody
