i was so excited to see Juliane and Ryan since their engagement session earlier this year. i was also looking forward to shooting in warmer weather, and this time at one of my favorite wedding venues, the Woolverton Inn. this venue is full of beautiful charm, and it made for the perfect backdrop not only during Juliane and Ryan’s ceremony, but the quiet moment they took to read vows they had written for each other privately. it’s beauty was punctuated perfectly by florals from my friend, Kim (a Cottage Gardener), who also just so happens to be one of the most talented florists i know. the day was beautiful, the couple amazingly fun, and to top it all off, a sunset appeared out of thin air.
i often realize how lucky i am. as a wedding photographer, i am charged with not only telling the story of somebody’s wedding through photography and photos, but i am present with two people during some of the most intimate parts of one of the most special days of their lives. the gravity of that blows me away and i am truly humbled and grateful. with Juliane and Ryan’s wedding all of this was especially true, and i am so honored and happy to have been there with them on their special day.
