MEGAN + DILLON | ENGAGEMENT AT GILSLAND FARM

Hold onto your hearts! Megan and Dillon are the cutest and kindest couple. I had the distinct pleasure of getting to photograph their engagement photos recently at Gilsland Farm Maine Audubon just outside of Portland, Maine in Falmouth. When I first met Megan and Dillon, they had asked if they could possibly do their photos with the Jurassic Park jeep that they own and showcase. I was so excited by the possibility that I could hardly contain my joy and enthusiasm. As a giant nerd myself, anytime I can incorporate people’s unique passions into their photos, I always jump at the chance.

They didn’t want all their engagement photos with the jeep (haha, fair enough!) so we spent some of our time exploring the beautiful nature at Gilsland Farm. When the sun was in the right place, I queued up the Jurassic Park theme song for us all, and we got to work. These photos are magical not only because of the jeep (which was SO cool!), but also because Megan and Dillon are contagiously fun. We had a great time swapping stories while I photographed them, and it was such a pleasure getting to be a part of their day.
