ALISSA + SARAH | WEDDING

as a photographer i get the unique opportunity to be an intimate part of what is for most couples one of the most important days of their lives.  on such momentous occasions, i often get to be witness to and often experience the feelings of joy, laughter, and inspiration.  there’s often always the “awwww…” moment when the couple does something cute.  there’s that moment when the tension is broken during the saying of the vows and everybody laughs and remembers how happy they are.  and sometimes there are moments that hit you right in the gut.  alissa and sarah are some of the most wonderful and beautiful women i have ever met… and having known them personally a few years now through an online community, i knew their story going in.  i knew what they had gone through together, and the events that had led up to the day of their wedding.  like a storybook, their relationship is a beautiful one… made even more touching by the loved ones who came to celebrate with them in Vermont.

some weddings do this thing where they give you all the feels… and they give them hard.  more than once that day, i was taking photos through tears in my eyes.
