sometimes during a shoot, i get really reeeeally excited.  it’s when i look at the back of the camera and see that we’ve gotten something amazing.  it’s moments like these where i literally start jumping up and down, getting pumped up like some boxer ready to go in to the ring (i don’t really watch sports, but my understanding from movies and pop culture tells me this a thing.)  all of this to say, when things are looking good in camera, when magic is happening, i’m a very excited and very happy photographer.  on the day i photographed Abby’s senior pictures in Philadelphia, i was doing a lot of excited jumping.

this girl who throughout our correspondence together was so sweet and kind, ended up coming to the photo shoot ready to work it– and boy, did she ever!  i love that she came not only to make beautiful images, but to have fun doing it.  we explored new parts of Philly like Chinatown and the FDR Skatepark (located under the interstate) and i caught so many great photos of her laughing or dancing to my music.  it was a great day in so many great ways.  thank you, Abby.  and always remember, you are a star!
