AIMEE + PATRICK | GRANITE RIDGE ESTATE WEDDING

It would be hard to put into words just how much I enjoyed getting to photograph Aimee and Patrick’s wedding. Still, I will try, and I beg your forgiveness if I don’t do justice to this fun, hilarious, touching, authentic, and beautiful day.

Their wedding was held at Granite Ridge Estate and Barn in Norway, Maine. The views there are breathtaking (I could not get enough of them!), and I was so excited to photograph this wedding there with a team of incredible friends and vendors. Aimee and Patrick are the kind of people you just want to hang out with for hours, and the amount of love that poured out from their family and friends was palpable. It was great to celebrate alongside them, and an honor to be the photographer at their special day.

Some favorite memories include:

• Joking around with Aimee, her mom, and her sisters (We all got each other’s humor almost instantly!)
• Patrick being a true gentleman and giving gifts to his brothers/groomsmen
• Photographing the tearful reactions at the couple’s first look
• The moment when the rains stopped just before the ceremony started
• The silly faces Aimee would make at me when she knew I was taking a picture
• Patrick and his mom’s incredible dance together (choreographed and achieved with 100% success)
• Aimee’s sister getting the first-dance with her dad that she hadn’t gotten during Covid. Everyone crying, cause feelings.
• Laughing with the couple throughout the day, and celebrating their love alongside their guests
• That final nighttime shot at Granite Ridge Estate (Fun fact: right before I shot it, Aimee offered to fight me on that rock. I declined… she would totally win.)

Congratulations, Patrick and Aimee! It was such an immense privilege getting to photograph your wedding, and I am so thankful to you, your loved ones, and to all who made this day as fun and beautiful as it was.
