BRENT + JESS | WEDDING IN NEW HOPE

something i’m always reiterating to my wedding clients is this– make your wedding your own.  this is so important.  weddings should only be as grand or as simple as you want them to be, and size does not always equal beauty.  oftentimes the more simple something is the more meaningful it can become.  that’s why i am so excited to share some photos from Brent and Jess’ intimate wedding.  surrounded by their closest family and friends, Brent and Jess opted for a wedding that was characterized by simplicity and elegance.  their ceremony took place at Saint Martin of Tours in New Hope just blocks from where they live, and they live-streamed the event for Brent’s mother who lives internationally.  after the ceremony we went into Lambertville in order to do some more formal (and less than formal) wedding photos of Brent, Jess, and their kids around town, before joining the rest of their guests at Caffe Galleria for Brent and Jess’ wedding reception.

everybody was smiles all day, and i think that’s really important.  it’s not the ballrooms, the gowns, or the dances that really matter at a wedding (although, i’m a bit partial to a good dance myself.)  what matters is the joy and the love shared between those closest to us.  it’s one of the most beautiful pictures in the world.
