BRIAN & MEGHAN | BARLEY CREEK BREWING COMPANY WEDDING IN THE POCONOS

i don’t know how to begin describing the fun i had photographing Brian and Meghan’s wedding. set on the edge of the Poconos at Barley Creek Brewing Company, this wedding felt relaxed, easy-going, and full of laughter. Brian and Meghan early on told me that they wanted their wedding to feel like a backyard barbecue, and that more than anything they just wanted people to enjoy themselves.

as a wedding photographer, i’m often surrounded by the joy of the moment and the celebrations of the day. Brian and Meghan and their guests not only invited me to photograph that celebration, but to take part in it with them. i danced a little. i made jokes a lot (i love getting to make couples and their guests laugh.) and i got to do what i love– capturing memories and moments for amazing and awesome people. Brian and Meghan tied the knot that day (both literally and figuratively) but i’m the one who feels so incredibly lucky to have been there with them when it happened.
