COREY + AUBREY | BACKYARD WEDDING IN PENNINGTON, NJ

when i think about the couples whose weddings i have enjoyed photographing the most, i start to notice some common themes:  they’re fun to be around; they’re kind; they care more about enjoying themselves than about the color of napkins or table runners; and they smile a lot– like A LOT. Corey and Aubrey were all of these things and more. their backyard wedding in Pennington, NJ was an intimate setting for their big day that was somehow both bold and vibrant while feeling completely relaxed and natural.

more than anything you could sense the love pouring into that place from their friends and family and from Corey and Aubrey themselves. these are women who love each other deeply and sincerely, and they share that love with those around them. being gay myself, i’m always filled with pride and joy to photograph same-sex weddings– but even more so when it is for two women as wonderful and beautiful as Aubrey and Corey happen to be.
