DANTE + LUCIE | COUPLES (NSFW)

Dante and Lucie approached me in New Hope sometime last fall in order to do their wedding and engagement photos.  however, unlike many couples, the photos that they wanted to represent them and their relationship were not what many would consider the typical engagement session.  moved by my darker and more artistic imagery such as RAIN and PERDITION, Lucie and Dante hoped to capture something that bordered on fine art photography.. something darker, more sensual, intimate, and almost surreal.  i’m really proud of individuals and also of couples who are not afraid to think outside the box.  i felt for this shoot as though i was given a wide breadth to create and explore my limits as a photographer alongside them, and i am incredibly grateful for their encouragement to do so.  together we crafted a storyline based loosely on a spiritual or ghostly visitation… a love affair caught between two worlds or dimensions that leaves its touch on what it leaves behind.
