EMILY + JOHN | GRANITE RIDGE ESTATE WEDDING PHOTOS

I think I’m pretty lucky. I say this for many reasons, but also because sometimes the stars align and everything falls into place. Enter in one of my favorite couples from this season, Emily and John. These two from the very start were people that I loved getting to be around and know. We had this ability to talk about anything from work, their upcoming wedding, to the joys (and sometimes frustrations) of our pets.

This wedding was also special though because of the absolute A-list dream team of wedding vendors that helped to make the day run smoothly and perfectly. I’ve listed them below the following photos, but I can’t tell you as a wedding photographer how great it is to work alongside so many great professional people who deeply care about making the day run smoothly for their couples.

Granite Ridge Estate is easily one of my favorite venues here in Maine. I was also excited to finally photograph the inside of their new cabin (which is gorgeous!) and the sunset we got the day of Emily and John’s wedding was unreal.

Emily and John put on an incredibly classy celebration for their wedding, but what I love most about getting to work with these two was how approachable, kind, and warm they are to those around them. They want everyone around them to have a good time, and that was absolutely evident even on their wedding day. From beginning to end they and their loved ones exuded joy and love, and one other reason I’m so lucky is that I had the privilege and honor of capturing that. Congratulations, Emily and John!
