This seems to be the year of micro weddings and elopements and i am totally onboard. while it’s not uncommon for me to shoot a number of smaller weddings and elopements throughout any given year, i continue to find myself so appreciative of the intimacy and authenticity that photographing an elopement can bring.
Nisha and Eric’s special day took place on a hot summer day at one of my favorite spaces to photograph, the Woolverton Inn in Stockton, NJ. the grounds there are beautiful, and i always seem to find so much opportunity in the rustic setting. what made this day unique as well is that it was full of traditions from Nisha’s Indian heritage. having always wanted to photograph an Indian wedding before, this was a delightful experience because if you know my photography, you’ll know that i love big and bold colors as well as new experiences.
Nisha and Eric were simply adorable, and you could feel the genuine love that these two shared for one another and for their family and close friends who were able to gather (both in-person as well as online!) i hope that you enjoy viewing these images as much as i enjoyed getting to take them and capture Nisha and Eric’s special day. many congratulations to them both!
