ERIN + SETH | ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS AT BARCADE IN PHILADELPHIA

you know when there are so many good things to talk about that you don’t even know where to start? yeah, yeah, well that’s sort of how i feel about Erin, Seth, and the AMAZING engagement photos we were able to capture together awhile back on a rainy day in Philadelphia. i had mentioned to them that while for everyone it’s different, some of the best engagement photos capture what a really good day spent with the person you love would look like. how would you want to spend it? for Erin and Seth that meant doing some pretty incredible things: video games, their favorite parts of Philly, and just them hanging out in their house and in their backyard with a really sweet mosaic of a witch that predates them living there. we started out at Barcade in Fishtown, and in spite of the heavy rain we got as we were ready to leave (even in a poncho i was dripping wet) Erin and Seth dived into their shoot with laughs and so much enthusiasm. we finished the night with pizza, they smoked a hookah pipe, and we all nerded out together for an hour or so as we talked about Harry Potter, books, swords, old Nintendo games, and that little thing we call life.

what i love most about my job is the people. i don’t care how many times i say it, to me people are what makes being a photographer more than just a job or something i do, but a passion. always.
