a few years back, i found an old Pentax film camera that my parents had purchased either before i was born, or shortly thereafter. as the resident photographer in the family, it came into my possession, and it has since then become a very personal piece of machinery.
when going on roadtrips or vacations i’ll often take this old Pentax camera along, capturing moments or feelings that seem particularly special to me. because film photography is messy and that’s part of its beauty. sometimes the photos are underexposed, overexposed, or out of focus, but for me there’s a bit of freedom in that… and i’m absolutely in love.
