JESS + JAKE | DEER PARK CAMP RETREAT WEDDING IN NEW HOPE

i was given the opportunity to photograph Jess and Jake at their whimsical forest wedding recently at the Deer Park Camp and Retreat Center in New Hope. these two cuties are soulful, solid, and truly wholeheartedly in love. what made their day particularly stand out to me was how they integrated the nature around the park into their day. this was not like many of the wedding venues i find myself in, but it was no less beautiful or special, and in fact there was beauty surrounding us all day in the form of trees, woods, and sky. a young deer even came out to say hello to us before Jess and Jake’s first look (photo below!)

it’s a potent reminder that love is simple and natural– something that shines from inside us, not out. Jess and Jake are the type of couple who seem to have known this from the bottom of their hearts, and their love for each other like the nature surrounding us at their wedding was breathtaking.
