LEAH + DEREK | ENGAGEMENT AT TWO LIGHTS STATE PARK

Getting to photograph Leah and Derek’s engagement photos was such a delightful treat. They took me up on visiting one of my favorite places in Maine, Two Lights State Park. With it’s combination of rocky coastline and lush wooded areas, it’s always a place I love to visit and photograph at.

What made this session especially wonderful for me was the joy, laughter, and love that these two shared during our time together. Derek and Leah have this easy-going and fun spirit about them that keeps you totally engaged (pun unintended) with them. A majority of my couples will state that they’re nervous about having their photos taken, so I often try to make things as fun and comfortable as possible. However, if Leah and Derek were ever nervous, they certainly didn’t show it. They seemed totally at ease and happy to simply be in a beautiful space and in each other’s arms.
